ST. JOSEPH CONFERENCE CENTER - MASTER PLAN
Client :
The Sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph
Location :
Cleveland, Ohio  View Slideshow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We served as prime design consultant and contractor for the implementation of a long-term master plan that seeks to support active and passive recreation on this lovely site of mature woods and dramatic topography on the bluffs of Rocky River. A new trail system connects a series of places that engage the participant.
· Celebrate sacred space within the shady womb of the Memorial Ellipse.
· See, touch, and smell a variety of herbs and perennials amidst cool splashes of the Welcome Fountain.
· Stroll along the bluff and through the locusts savannah in the Deer Meadow
· Plant and nurture vegetables in the Congregation Vegetable Garden.
· Journey along the spiral Cosmic Walk contemplating nature's fundamental and universal elements of unbroken sky, sinuous earth forms and eternal wind.

OBERLIN COLLEGE STUDENT HOUSING - MASTER PLAN
Client: Oberlin College  Location: Oberlin, Ohio
----------------------------------------------------
Our design focuses on a native tall grass and forbs meadow designed to transform a dull storm water detention area into a lively wildscape that supports songbirds and insects, restores disturbed soil and slows storm runoff. A clearing in the meadow offers places to pause, stroll and gather. We provide native trees and shrubs, including extensive use of disease resistant American Elms.
